A bamboo vs. recycled toilet paper smackdown

A bamboo vs. recycled toilet paper smackdown

A bell will ring. What do you hear? It is the rumbling noise of two toilet paper rolls. We've put recycled bamboo under the gun because people frequently ask us which is best for wiping their behinds. (We hope you enjoy it because it's like asking us to select between our children.)

Okay, ref, let's get started.

Round 1Who is more environmentally friendly ?

Recycled toilet paper makes a strong debut since it is created from paper that has already been used in offices and schools and is 100 per cent post-consumer recycled. Deforestation, you're done! Additionally, because it is already paper, producing TP from the fibres requires less energy than producing TP from regular wood. A good beginning, but wait,

Another eco-heavyweight bamboo toilet paper is now available. Because bamboo grows faster than any other plant on earth (up to a meter in a single day), it can be harvested far more often than trees. Bamboo TP requires less land for each sheet of production than conventional TP by over 90%. Woah! How's that for each punch—it saves forests and is completely biodegradable, too?

Winner: Refurbished by a hair's breadth; bamboo puts up a brave fight but requires a little more energy to manufacture and is slightly more expensive.

Round 2: Which feels better on your bum?

We'll say that recyclable toilet paper isn't the softest material available. The fibres in the newspaper we use have undergone greater wear than those in a roll made with fresh trees because it has undergone many recycling processes before it is transformed into toilet paper. But don't worry; we make every effort to keep it sturdy and comfortable for your earth-loving tush.

The corner of bamboo, in contrast, hand, is soft. It's our strongest toilet paper, and it feels like the store rolls you're used to. It also feels fantastic on your conscience.

Winner: Bamboo strikes hard to win the softness round.

Round 3: Which is more convenient?

We took a brief break to wipe our warriors' brows, and now we're back. They took care of things themselves because they are both extremely absorbent.

This round is a tie because both bamboo & recycled materials performed well. Both of them are available for online ordering and door-to-door delivery. Smack! They also come in bulk quantities of 24 or 48 rolls, ensuring you are never caught without toilet paper when you least expect it. Bam! If you sign up for a subscription, we can determine how frequently your toilet paper should be delivered based on the number of people in your home. Pow! You won't ever need to buy toilet paper from a store again. Kablooey!

We're declaring a tie from our frontline seat in the bathroom.

Round 4: Who has the better appearance?

Have you never heard that one's perception of beauty varies? However, the gloves are off when it comes to our recycled sheets, which are covered with a variety of cheerful and amiable patterns. (We are aware that using individual wrappers for eco-friendly toilet paper may seem illogical, but we looked into it thoroughly to make sure that it was the best choice for us, our influence on the environment, and the globe - you can read more information about it here.)

Ouch, but bamboo toilet paper is the most stylish ever. It is dressed in black & white and appears regal next to your bathroom. Furthermore, it receives a fresh appearance with each of our limited editions. Swoon.

Winner: Recycled takes one straight in the kisser after a full-fledged brawl. We simply can't get enough of our rattan toilet paper and all of the stylish wardrobe variations.

Round 5: The Wild Card round

It's time for the ultimate fight! Dependable recycled toilet paper versus trendy bamboo. To be honest, we're not entirely sure what title they're vying for, so we figured this was a good time to tell you about some of their other strong suits:

Both rolls are reasonably priced compared to supermarket toilet paper, so you can feel good about using them without breaking the bank. They are both extremely long, so you won't run out of them quickly. Fifty per cent of the profits were also donated to organizations that provide clean water and toilets to those in need.

And the winner is...

You didn't believe you could make us make a decision, did you? After a brawl like that, we believe that recycled & bamboo toilet paper are both excellent choices. Most importantly, they're both excellent for the environment, the population, and your posterior.
